Short Description

At Vesalius, we offer custom-made insoles for children to address their orthopedic disorders or provide better support for more comfortable walking.

Special insoles are an effective way to prevent or treat foot problems. Our custom insoles are made using foam impressions, insoles, or plaster casts. They are designed to absorb shocks and alleviate pressure on the feet.

We provide three main types of insoles:

  1. Corrective insoles: designed to restore and correct the foot to its original healthy form.
  2. Supportive insoles: provide support and help to maintain proper foot positioning.
  3. Soft insoles: designed to alleviate pressure on sensitive areas of the foot.

Modern S-Plate Pedometer

Each person walks in a unique way, with different walking patterns. At Vesalius, we use the latest digital pedometer technology to evaluate your posture and gait accurately.

Our modern and radiation-free foot scan is a personalized procedure that aims to obtain your best kinematic and static impression. We digitally display the morphology of your feet, compare them, and provide information on any diseases of the lower extremities. The pedometer records the pressure of the sole, the balance of the trunk, the loading of the foot arch, and the position of the heel.

If necessary, our Vesalius specialists can manufacture orthotic correction insoles to improve your kinematic and static profile.

Types of Footprints

We use two types of footprints, static and dynamic, to gather the necessary information. During the static measurement, the patient stands still on the special platform, and during the dynamic measurement, the patient walks on the platform at a normal speed and direction.

At Vesalius, we use both types of pelograft, depending on your needs and condition.
